London office continues to expand for Principle Estate Management

Principle Estate Management has recruited two more experienced property professionals as its London office continues to expand.

Clemency Wall has been appointed as a property manager with Principle, bringing with her more than four years’ experience in the sector, most recently with Blenheims Estate and Asset Management.

Ms Wall, who previously worked with the SP Property Group in London and Villa Maria Catholic Homes in Australia, will now work closely with Rachael Hornby, who joined Principle as associate director last summer.

Rebecca Johnston has also joined Principle’s London team as a property assistant after four years of experience with Madison Brook International, and she will be assisting senior property manager Geovanni Pinto.

The new starters have come soon after the recruitment of Jack Swann in December as senior business development manager and take the London office staff numbers up to eight.

Commenting on her new team members, Ms Hornby said: “We were impressed by both Clemency and Rebecca at interview and feel their experience in London will help to strengthen the office.

“These latest recruitments come as we plan to double our London office numbers in the next 12 months.

“Principle is currently managing around 20% of its managed stock from London, and we need more quality staff for our future growth, with an excellent pipeline of properties about to join our portfolio.

“Clemency and Rebecca bring local knowledge and will provide excellent additional support at a time of major changes in the sector, including extra obligations on clients and managing agents.”

Ms Wall grew up in Chumleigh, Devon, and studied for a BA (Hons) in Writing, Directing and Performance at the University of York.

Away from work, she is a keen writer and pianist who is currently working on her first novel, and enjoys travelling, diving and amateur dramatics.

Ms Wall has also spent time volunteering, most notably helping to build a library for a school in Uganda, and playing music to children at a handicapped school.

She said: “I’ve heard a lot about Principle Estate Management and was very keen to join a company that has such high standards and that is always putting its customers first.

“I’m very much looking forward to making a big contribution to it’s growing London office and am determined that my experience will help with the company’s ongoing expansion in the area.”

Ms Johnston is from Uxbridge and moved into central London in 2019 ago, beginning her career in property as an office coordinator at Marsh & Parsons estate agency.

She then worked in residential property management, spending three years with Madison Brook where she was quickly promoted to senior property manager.

She has a Level 3 Propertymark award in Residential Lettings and Property Management and is son to start studying for qualification with the Inistitute of Residential Property Management

Away from work, Ms Johnston enjoys travelling and hiking with her partner and dog, and she completed the Three Peaks challenge for charity last year.

She said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Principle where I believe I can both help with my local knowledge and learn a lot from the many experienced staff they have on the team.”

Launched in 2018, Principle now has more than 65 staff looking after a portfolio of more than 12,000 units at around 375 developments across the UK.
