Luxury canal side apartments in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter to be managed by Principle
A development of luxury canal side apartments with private parking in Birmingham city centre is to be looked after by Principle Estate Management.
63-64 Water Street is a new collection of two and three-bedroomed apartments and penthouses within the city’s historical Jewellery Quarter, developed by Alcora Warren
The ten exclusive residences across four storeys are currently being marketed by Maguire Jackson, and Centrick, and Alcora Warren has awarded the estate management contract to Principle.
Joe Jobson, joint managing director at Principle, said: “We are thrilled to have been appointed to this high-profile estate management contract.
“63-64 Water Street is considered to be one of the last remaining canal-fronted sites in Birmingham city centre, with a unique collection of luxury apartments and penthouses all with views directly onto the canal.
“The apartments are partly within a converted canal warehouse and partly new build, with stylish floor to ceiling bay windows and balconies along the south facing elevation fronting the canal.
“While it’s a relatively small development, it’s combined old and new structure and modern fittings all add up to detailed estate management requirements, which Principle has the size, capability and focus to provide.”
63-64 Water Street sits alongside the Birmingham and Fazeley canal running through the centre of the city’s Jewellery Quarter.
A spokesperson for Alcora Warren, said: “63-64 Water Street has been designed and built to the very highest standards, and we wanted a very experienced estate management company to look after the property.
“The interiors have all been carefully considered with great attention paid to detail in order to create the perfect blend of old and new which is timeless, up-to-date and practical.
“The generous proportions of the old warehouse have been followed through into the new build section and have allowed the design team to create spacious and light internal spaces, which are at the same time warm and inviting.
“As well as secure access to the parking area there is also a secure video entrance system, a feature stairwell with lift access and individual secure letterboxes.
“What is a contemporary design along with the occasional reference to the industrial heritage of the original warehouse has resulted in ten magnificent apartments and penthouses, and we were determined that we should aim high with the ongoing maintenance.
“Maguire Jackson introduced us to Principle and we were immediately impressed both with their detailed proposals and their rich history of dealing so well with such a wide range of properties in their portfolio.
“They have helped us set up everything we need in terms of maintenance and service contracts which are now all set up and ready for resident occupancy.”
Features include contemporary kitchens with all the latest appliances and breakfast bar/islands, clean and opulent bedrooms with ample storage and fully tiled bathrooms and en-suite.
