Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2022

As part of National Apprenticeships Week, we are celebrating our wonderful team of Apprentices who work in a range of roles across Principle.

Through our scheme, apprentices can combine on-the-job training in a real work environment and learning from experienced property management professionals whilst earning a qualification. We offer a clear pathway for apprentices to progress into full time employment here at Principle as they develop their skills and experience.

Working in both our Customer Service and Finance teams, apprentices play a key role in the delivery of our property management services and delivering our vision to positively impact the everyday lives of our communities.

“Doing my apprenticeship with Principle is the best decision I have made, I enjoy working with a company that is so motivating and passionate about what they do”

Stephanie Jobson, operations director at Principle, commented: “National Apprenticeships Week is a great excuse for us to showcase the fantastic work our apprentices do and the great opportunities that are available at Principle.

“We are committed supporting local, talented, young people to get into work and learn on the job. Our apprenticeship programme adds diversity and energy to our workforce, and we recognise the importance of investing in our colleagues to create a culture of engagement and learning.”

Principle works alongside Protocol to place new apprentices across various roles. Mary Baxter from Protocol commented: “We have built a partnership with Principle to ensure we deliver an exceptional experience in learning and progression for each apprentice.

“We support Principle to recruit suitable candidates to match their business needs and together we enjoy celebrating success as our apprentices achieve their qualification.”

Henna Nawaz, Property Apprentice, is studying for a customer service qualification. She said: “Doing my apprenticeship with Principle is the best decision I have made, I enjoy working with a company that is so motivating and passionate about what they do.”

“Principle has helped me gain knowledge about the property industry. I wish to progress within the company in the future and become a property manager.”

Imahni Hurlock-Edmead, Finance Apprentice, is completing her business administrator level 3 apprenticeship. She added: “This allows me to learn about things directly applicable to my job. Employers often favour those with years of experience which I did not have, however, Principle gave me the opportunity to work in the accounts department and gain valuable experience.”

Kiera Hall is about to complete her Level 3 Business Administration qualification. She said: “I chose to complete this so I could get hands on experience working in property management whilst understanding the foundations of a business and how they operate".”

“Principle Estate Management offer great support and have helped me to become more confident in my skills and abilities. I am hoping to progress further with Principle in the years to come and to achieve a managerial position.”
