Principle signs partnership agreement with leading recruitment agency

Principle Estate Management has signed a vital partnership agreement which will enable the fast growing property management company to scale up its operations as it continues to expand.

Founded by joint managing director Brett Williams in April 2018, Principle has teamed up with One Property Recruitment (OPR) to source new talent for its Birmingham and London offices. In just five years Principle has grown to manage more than 10,000 units and now employs over 50 staff.

Operations director Stephanie Jobson explained that to grow Principle needed to ensure it had the right people in post.

“Principle and One Property Recruitment have worked together for some time, and they have now successfully placed several people into our business as we have continued to grow rapidly.

“They have a great understanding of our business, how we work, our people, our vision and growth plans.”

Principle enhanced its footprint on the national stage when the company acquired block management business Myhill Newman in London in March 2022.

This gave Principle an office in the capital and enabled the company to absorb a further 861 units and 24 commercial units located across the boroughs of Islington, Camden, Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea.

Mrs Jobson said: “Principle has always been a company built on people. We pride ourselves on continually developing the best team of professionals to deliver for our customers and clients, and ensure we have the right people to drive us forward.

"OPR is an extension of our team here. Their management and consultants have taken the time to get to know us and they share our values and believe in our vision. They have demonstrated this by sourcing right candidates for us, as we continue to grow.”

Zoe Smith, managing director of OPR, said: “Principle wants and needs talent to continue the company’s amazing growth story and we will reward their trust in us by continuing to find the best talent in the industry.”

Mrs Jobson added: “We support and invest in people and provide genuine opportunities for ambitious, driven, hard-working people achieve their potential.

“OPR will help us recruit the best talent in the market and, as well as helping people find rewarding and fulfilling career opportunities, OPR will enable us to fulfil our growth plans and ultimately realise our vision.”

Principle looks after more than 10,000 property units in more than 300 developments across the UK and has offices in Newhall Street, Birmingham, and is soon to move from Wardour Street to larger offices in Eastcastle Street, London.
