2024 at Principle: Our year in review

2024 is coming to a close and it’s been another brilliant year for Principle! 

On LinkedIn we’ve been sharing our wins, our teams’ achievements and some fun facts you may not know about us, and here’s the full Principle puzzle.  

15% growth in our team 📈 

We’ve celebrated new joiners in every office, two marriages, two babies and we got everyone together for our summer party, staff conference and this week, our Christmas party.  

£3750 raised for charity  

Charity is a key part of the Principle puzzle.  We’ve skydived, climbed mountains and baked cakes to raise £3,750 for charity in 2024! Thank you to everyone who has fundraised and donated in support of Alzheimers Society.

2444 site inspections 

Our property inspectors travel across the country to help keep the homes we manage safe, secure and compliant.  This year they have carried out 2,444 site inspections – that’s 47 per week 😯 

3.8 rating on Trustpilot 

We know that our property management team do a brilliant job working with residents, contractors and clients to deliver a positive impact on the everyday lives of our communities, and we believe this should be reflected in our reviews.  When we don’t get it right, we take this on board to improve our service, but when we do get it right, we ask for feedback so we can recognise and reward the team.  This year we’re really proud of our green rating on Trustpilot – 3.8 stars!  

Over 7,000 new homes under management  

We’ve been instructed on some incredible landmark schemes such as The Calthorpe Estate, SETL and The Edition in Birmingham. In the last 12 months we’ve grown our portfolio by 7,000 homes 🏘️ 

25 cakes baked by Matt Harris 

Did you know, the highlight of the week in our Birmingham office is resident baker Matt’s Wednesday cakes? We’ve calculated that he’s made 25 cakes this year and was a very deserving winner of our annual bake off 🏆 

35% growth in office space 

A bigger team means bigger offices!  Modern working spaces are an investment for our people. We work flexibly, with regular time together in person and working collaboratively.  We’ve increased our office space across the board, in London, Birmingham and the north west.  

21% growth in blocks managed 

We crunched the numbers to reveal 21% growth in blocks managed 🏢 

58,000 help desk tickets handled 

A lot of work goes on behind the scenes to keep buildings running and answer resident queries.  Our team are currently averaging over 200 help desk tickets every day! That’s 58,000 in a year. A vital part of the Principle puzzle.  


From homes managed, to cakes baked, it’s been a brilliant year and we’re really looking forward to 2025 🎉
